Marijuana Clinic Moving To Thunder Bay

Some changes are in store for a Fort Frances medical marijuana clinic as it closes and moves to Thunder Bay.

Rainy River Cannabis Collective Co-owner Angela Olson says for them it make sense.

“Having all the different businesses in one building will just make it a lot easier for me to make sure that things are kosher.”

She adds it’ll centralize all of its clinical operations to Thunder Bay.

“You still will pay the fee that you would normally pay for in person, so all of our members in Fort Frances will not see an increase in cost, we’re going to make sure it stays the same for them, even though they have access to remote services.”

Olson says they still hope to set up a dispensary in Fort Frances in the near future.

She adds the current Fort Frances location is expected to close later this month.

“We can still help patients over the summer if they need us, but we’re hoping to open in Thunder Bay for September, but definitely no later than October.”

Olson says they will still be able to service their Fort Frances customers remotely at no extra cost to patients.
