A southern Ontario man is set to appear in court today on stolen vehicle-related charges.
Just after noon yesterday, Schreiber OPP tried to do a traffic stop on a vehicle in Shuniah, after they say an investigation revealed the vehicle had been stolen.
The 26-year-old driver refused to stop for police, eventually pulling over onto Ivar Road west of Shuniah.
They say the driver fled on foot into the bush, but was arrested after a search involving canine units with Thunder Bay Police and OPP.
