Hitchhiker Causing Concern Found By OPP

Motorists traveling along the 11/17 near Nipigon can breath a sigh of relief after a hitchhiker was picked up by provincial police.

OPP had tweeted warnings over the weekend for drivers not to pick the man up, described as Caucasian, in his 30s to 40s, carrying a red back pack.

No reason has been given by police for the warning.
