Politicians will be going on the barbeque circuit across Canada this summer ahead of the fall general election, that includes Thunder Bay MP Patty Hajdu.
Hajdu tells us she has no regrets during her time in office.
“I feel as the MP for Thunder Bay pretty satisfied with the work that I did for the region, but I know there’s still so much to do. I’ll be focused a lot of my time this summer reconnecting with residents in Thunder Bay-Superior North.”
The Liberal incumbent wants to continue to work on a rural economic development strategy which she feels will help the region.
The election is slated for October 21st.
