The day has finally arrived! No, it’s not the U.S. version of Canada Day that has me excited, it’s the release of season 3 of Stranger Things!!! I have been eagerly anticipating this season since they announced it and started teasing it earlier this year. I’ve been hooked since season 1 and I have zero regrets. I think the appeal for me is that I could have been one of those kids. I would have been roughly the same age in 1983, was in to DND, Sci-Fi, Horror Movies, riding my bike, I grew up in a small town…there are just a ton of similarities to my upbringing. I mean, other than they are obviously very U.S. based and I grew up in Ontario. I had originally intended to spend some time refreshing my memory with season 1 and 2 before the launch of season 3 but it didn’t happen. So, the dilemma: do I hold off and rewatch the first two seasons before getting into 3? Do I just jump in to season 3? Okay, okay, I admit it, I couldn’t wait! I started watching this morning!! So far, it’s everything I could have asked for! I’m just hoping they don’t jump the shark this season and kill the show! Have you watched it yet? If you haven’t, are you excited for it?
