Ontario Power Generation is looking to acquire a power company in the US.
OPG says its entered in an agreement with Cube Hydro worth an estimated $1.1 billion.
CUBE Hydro operates 19 small and medium sized hydropower projects in northeastern and southwestern US.
OPG’s President Ken Hartwick says it’s an opportunity to grow their revenue.
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals.
