More Fires For MNR To Deal With

Four new forest fires have been confirmed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

It notes one near Red Lake is not under control, neither is one near Dryden, both reported as of yesterday.

The MNR adds another one near Fort Frances is under control, as is one near Kenora.

The fires near Pikangikum and Trout Lake are under control, and haven’t been reduced in size, while the fire near Pickle Lake is out.

There are currently 13 fires burning in the northwest.
