The Raptors huge victory parade and rally, celebrating their NBA championship, has attracted an estimated two million fans to downtown Toronto.
Included in the massive crowd today is Thunder Bay’s Brandon Walker, a long-time Raptors fan, who agrees the atmosphere is electric.
Walker says the party began when the the team won the NBA championship 114-110 over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, and has not stopped.
He says as the players were being paraded by on double-decker buses “people were climbing trees to be able to see better” adding “it was like ‘The Beatles’ coming through, it’s crazy.”
The Thunder Bay resident, who works at Lakehead University, says everyone who is there feels like they are “a part of history.”
