No Major Flooding Reported From Rain

There doesn’t appear to be any flash flooding which has been reported as the result of Sunday’s heavy rainfall.

The Lakehead Region Conservation Authority, in its flood outlook update, says area rivers and streams have risen but should reach their peak later today.

The authority is cautioning the water is still running high and river banks remain unstable and slippery meaning they could be dangerous.
