City councillor Shelby Ch’ng is being recognized by the Share the Road Cycling Coalition.
Ch’ng is thrilled to be recognized for her work on biking in the community.
“I’m really touched. There were some constituents who put me up for this award. It’s an award that happens at the bike summit and it’s in recognition for building a more bike-friendly Thunder Bay.”
The Northwood Councillor received the Wheels of Change award yesterday in Toronto.
Meanwhile, Ch’ng points out they are still looking for a replacement for the Active Transportation Coordinator position left vacant by Adam Krupper.
