The City is closing a section of Red River Road.
They say it’s so they can complete water valve maintenance.
Lane closures will be in effect and traffic speeds will be reduced.
The construction work is taking place between Junot Avenue and the Thunder Bay Expressway.
Motorist are asked to avoid the intersection if possible while City crews work.
Signage will be in place to guide traffic safely away from the work area.
Work began Thursday night and is expected to be complete by this afternoon at 4 pm.
