Shootings In Toronto/Western Canada In 24 Hours

Two separate shooting incidents across Canada over the last 24 hours.

Media reports indicate four men are in custody after a standoff with RCMP in western Manitoba yesterday. Police say one officer was shot, he’s in stable condition.

Police were responding to calls of a robbery when it escalated.

And in Toronto, police say shots were fired at the popular Yorkdale shopping centre, just before 3pm yesterday.

Police are looking for multiple suspects, fortunately no injuries.

The mall was in lockdown for the day, is expected to re-open today.
