City police are confirming an assault Tuesday night at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Brodie Street.
When they arrived they found a man had been shot while he stood outside the Newfie’s Pub on the sidewalk with a number of other people.
Police say his injuries are consistent with shotgun pellets.
The 28 year old victim has since been released from the hospital.
