Necan Not Eligible For Parole For 13 Years

Nicholas Joseph Necan will be eligible for parole after serving 13 years of his lifetime in jail sentence.

It comes after he was found guilty earlier this year of second degree murder of 60 year old George Gerard in 2016.

Over the course of the jury trial earlier this year, court heard Gerard died after being the victim of a brutal beating in his own Casablanca Apartment on Simpson Street.

The judge told court “Mr. Gerard was brutally and senselessly beaten to death over a period of 45 minutes to an hour while minding his own business in his apartment.

As part of his sentence Necan will have a life time ban on owning weapons and will have to provide his DNA to a database.

Necan is currently 39 years old and will be in his 50s when he’ll become eligible for parole.
