It looks like City workers won’t be striking this week.
Talks between CUPE local 87 and the City continued past the original midnight deadline, but a City spokesperson says the union has set a new deadline of Monday November 7th.
In a statement, the spokesperson says the union is considering the City’s latest offer and won’t act until after it votes on the proposal.
