Thunder Bay is trying to block Waukesha Wisconsin from taking water from the Great Lakes.
City Council is asking Governors of the Great Lakes states to not let Waukesha get its drinking water from Lake Michigan.
Mayor Keith Hobbs says officials missed some key points when they approved that city’s application.
Hobbs is hopeful the approval will be reversed but adds the City has hired a legal firm as a precaution.
