A former Liberal Prime Minister is predicting a new era in relations between the Federal government and First Nations.
Paul Martin was a keynote speaker at the Aboriginal Education Symposium in Thunder Bay and he took time to slam the previous government on its stance on First Nations education.
Martin says aboriginal leaders will now be able to work with the government on establishing their own education strategy.
