City fire officials are saying they were stretched to the limit on Monday afternoon.
They say that a two alarm blaze at a Westfort townhouse happened at the same time as a blaze in a building on East Victoria along with a call on the north side to the Cascades area on Balsam Street. The latter call used up the final two trucks available. Officials say the units were prioritized on the south side.
There were no injuries in any of the calls and damage to the Westfort and East Victoria buildings was light.
