Toys for Tots is back for another holiday season of fundraising.
Chair Paul Penna says they are really thankful for the over 48-thousand dollars they received from Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie Day.
Penna adds it will go along way to help support the growing list of kids they provide gifts for.
Last year they provided toys for around four thousand kids.
Firefighters have a booth set up at the Intercity Shopping Centre to take your donations right up until December 21st.
Money raised goes towards buying toys and gifts that Christmas Cheer gives to kids in need. (Photos and video by Sheri Leviski Kotyk)
