A fairly strong third quarter for Domtar.
The company is reporting net earnings of $11 million for the period, while sales were at $1.3 million.
Chief Executive Officer John Williams says they had a good operating performance in Pulp and Paper, and saw strong paper shipments.
Operating income was $89 million, and was boosted by lower raw material costs, a favourable exchange rate, lower freight costs and lower administrative expenses. (File photo)
