A serious car accident has closed Highway 11/17 at Highway 587.
OPP say the eastbound lane at Pass Lake Road in Shuniah has been shut down, after a motorcycle and a van collided just after the lunch hour.
The westbound lane is partially open, and is being used to alternate traffic thru.
Police say one person is facing serious injuries and has been transported to hospital.
