A warning from Thunder Bay police to be wary of impaired drivers.
They say while drunk driving has usually been an issue in the late night and early morning hours, especially around bars and restaurants, police are noting disturbing trends.
They say data from 2020 points to a nearly 50% increase in impaired driving arrests between 6 o’clock in the morning and 6pm.
Police have started a webpage showing how they’re fighting this problem, along with a weekly updated list of people charged.
