Bee Kind

We pulled together a few odds and ends for this DIY to celebrate one of the most important parts of our ecosystem: BEES

Use what you have at home to create yours!

Here’s what we used:

Acrylic Paint ( Black / Yellow)
Paint Brush
Tin Cans
Bottle Lids
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Construction Paper
Pipe Cleaners
Eyes
Yarn

Tip: You will need 3-4 coats of paint. Prior to painting, punch holes out if you plan on hanging so you don’t strip the acrylic.

Did you know : Bees communicate through chemical scents called pheromones and through special bee dances.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
