So far it appears Mayor Bill Mauro seems to approve of a new hotel on Arthur Street near the existing Hampton Inn.
Mauro says he hasn’t read all of the details about the project yet but on first glance approves.
“The administration recommends this, it sounds like a nice investment in the community, and we will see where the decision lands on Monday night.”
The project goes before Council Monday night since the proposed land the hotel would sit on needs to be rezoned.
