Bobby Curtola In The Music HOF

Thunder Bay’s Bobby Curtola is being honoured by the Canadian Music Hall of Fame three years after his death.

The crooner is be one of four new inductees into the hall this year.

He joins Andy Kim, Chilliwack, and the Cowboy Junkies.

Officials say with his boy-next-door looks and smooth vocal style, Bobby Curtola had all the perfect qualities to win over fans at the dawn of the sixties and he instantly became a teen idol.

The formal induction will be taking place on Sunday October 27th, and the event will be broadcast on the CBC on March 15th.
