The Kelly Clarkson Show debuted today. I’m pumped to check it out. She always has come across as genuine and hilarious whenever I’ve seen her on TV. She told Jimmy Fallon that she loves talking and it’s her favourite pastime but she has trouble stopping and is working on her listening skills.
Despite being primarily known as a singer, Kelly has TV experience. Her career was launched on American Idol, winning the inaugural season. With that background, it should come as no surprise that there will be a big musical element to the talk show. But it’s the movies that provided the inspiration for her first introduction. Steve Carell showed up to intro Kelly with a nod to his iconic chest waxing scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin!

Another superstar stepped up to help Kelly out. Her first guest was set to be Kevin Hart but he wasn’t able to make it after seriously injuring his back in a car accident. So Kevin’s big buddy, The Rock, left his honeymoon early to tag-in for Hart. Check him out below talking about his wedding!
