The Labour Day long weekend means it’s time for local unions to celebrate their achievements with the annual Labour Day Picnic.
It is on today from noon until four o’clock, and includes food, entertainment, and games. .
Thunder Bay and District Labour Council is hosting it at Current River Park.
Organizers say it’s also a time for local union members to get ready to defend their accomplishments if needed.
