Local paramedics are supporting a man raising money for mental health services.
The Superior North Association of Professional Paramedics donated $200 to Victoria, B.C. paramedic Chris Bruckner’s fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Along with raising money for the CMHA, Bruckner is attempting to break a Guinness World Record by cycling across Canada in 12 days.
He started his journey in Vancouver on June 30th and passed through the Thunder Bay area recently.
A SNAPP paramedic accompanied him from Hearst to the Terry Fox memorial.
