Police Seek Cab Robbery Suspects

City police are looking for two suspects they say robbed a cab driver.

They say the cab picked two men up in the north downtown core around 2:00 on the morning of December 19th.

One of the suspects asked the driver to stop in the zero-to-100 block of Walkover Street, then allegedly the two men took cash from the driver and ran away.

They were last spotted running through the drive-through of the Red River Road McDonald’s location.

They’re described as Caucasian men in their early 20s, with both having thin builds.

Police say one man had dark hair and was wearing grey pants, black shoes, and a black jacket with a hood.

The other is described as wearing a black toque, black jacket with fur on the hood, a grey shirt, light-coloured tight pants, and beige Timberland-style boots.

They’re asking anyone who can help identify the suspects to come forward.
