Woman Hopes Chiefs of Ontario Hearing Leads To National Inquiry

The Mother of a murdered First Nation woman wants to see a national inquiry into missing and murdered women.

Aileen Joseph is from Six Nations and attended a hearing by the Chiefs of Ontario for the families of missing or murdered Indigenous women and girls.

Joseph says her daughter was murdered in July 2004 and she’s struggled with the loss. She says hopes the First Nation led forum will lead to a federal government inquiry.
