In Pikangikum, an alleged assault on a baby has resulted in charges for one woman.
OPP say they’ve arrested the 51-year-old from Pikangikum First Nation in connection with the incident, which they say happened last September.
The infant had been taken to a hospital in Winnipeg with serious injuries.
The woman is in custody waiting for a bail hearing scheduled for today.
