Woman Charged After Home Break-In

A 29-year old woman is facing charges after police say an unwelcome visitor barged into a Machar Avenue home over the weekend.

They note it was around 2:30 yesterday afternoon when they got reports of a break and enter in progress.

They say it appears the woman forced her way into the house after the homeowner, who has limited mobility, answered the door to banging outside.

Police add she asked to use the phone, but then appeared to roam through the house.

The local woman was arrested without incident, facing break and enter and breach of probation charges.
