Katrina Sutherland is the winner of this year’s Fort William Rotary House Lottery.
Club President Dawn Sebesta drew her name at noon Monday.
The home on Bishop Court in Sherwood Estates is valued at over $642,000, and the lottery brought in more than $500,000 for local organizations and nonprofits.
Over its 35-year history, Sebesta says the house lottery has raised over $6-million to groups like the George Jeffrey Children’s Centre, the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation, the Salvation Army, Shelter House, and Wilderness Discovery Centre.
Tickets sold out in April.
