It includes Circle K and some other convenience stores, and some Shoppers Drug Mart locations.
Many gas stations are also open.
You can hop on a bus, but be aware that they’re running on a holiday schedule.
The closure list is typical for a statutory holiday: beer and liquor stores, schools, and government offices be they city, provincial, or federal.
As for shopping, the major grocery stores and malls are closed as well.
Also, because this is a long weekend, the City is reminding you that you can put out an extra bag of garbage without a tag.
They say the collection date for your neighbourhood after the Victoria Day holiday allows for three bags of garbage.
