Lighthouses Of Lake Superior Preparing For Summer

Officials with the Canadian Lighthouses of Lake Superior are getting ready for their summer season.

Spokesperson Paul Morralee tells us they have two summer students hired so far.

“They learn about tourism, about our local history and they learn how to live on Lake Superior. They get really excited to be part of our lighthouse program.”

Four artists in residence will be living and creating art on the island this summer as well.

Volunteers will start tidying up Point Porphyry on June 1st.
