Vaping Concerns Follow American Deaths

Questions still remain after the deaths of at least five people and hundreds of illnesses in the United States linked to vaping.

Dan DePeuter of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit calls the statistics “alarming.”

He indicates while there are common elements associated to the vaping illnesses in the States, the exact cause has not been determined and those who vape should tread carefully.

DePeuter says the cases in the States show “we still don’t know all of the long term effects of vaping.”

The health unit official adds, there have been no deaths or illnesses reported from vaping either locally or across Canada.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
