Update 9:30am:
There isn’t too much snow to report this morning from Environment Canada.
It says the most Thunder Bay received last night was up to 4-5cms of very light snow. However, areas further north such as Nipigon, Rossport, Marathon and Wawa are getting up to 30cms today.
As for city streets, Thunder Bay police are dealing with a crash at Balmoral and Cameron, we’re told there are delays in the area. There’s also a problem in a southbound lane of the Thunder Bay Expressway. It’s blocked due to a disabled plow, between Oliver Road and the Harbour Expressway. And, there’s a vehicle in the ditch, possibly slowing traffic down on the 11/17, westbound, at Spruce River Road. Looking at the Ontario 511 website, no problems of note. A check of ministry cameras shows most highways around Thunder Bay clear to slightly snow covered, but as you head west, especially to Manitoba, you’ll come across more snow.
