Numerous charges have been laid against two Thunder Bay men following what police are calling a serious assault.
They tell us it was Friday evening when a victim was at the home of one of the accused on Oliver Road, when the two got into an altercation. It wasn’t too long after when police say the victim was bound and assaulted with weapons by two men. The victim managed to escape.
Police add they arrested one of the men Saturday evening in the Oliver Road area, and took the second into custody early the next morning.
The 20 year old faces charges including aggravated assault, forcible confinement, failing to comply with a court order and breach of probation. The 22 year old will answer to similar charges but also possession of cocaine and resisting a peace officer.
Both appeared in bail court, and remain in custody with future court dates.
