If City Council says yes tonight, work will begin on their $38-million dollar indoor turf facility.
Mayor Bill Mauro doesn’t want to speculate on whether they will ratify the project or not.
“If there is, I can’t speak to what that final decision will represent in terms of the scope of the project. There were three or four councillors who weren’t there for the last vote and so we’ll see where we end up on the 22nd.”
Earlier in June, the city approved in principle $4.2 million in engineering work for a permanent metal structure with tennis courts which could be located at Chapples Park.
