Trudeau Visits Pikangikum Today

A special visitor for the Pikangikum First Nation.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau flew into the remote first nation community this morning.

He’s meeting with band council members and the Chief of the Nishinabe Aski Nation Alvin Fiddler.

Later he’ll spend the afternoon at the new school in the community to unveil a plaque.

Kenora M.P. Bob Nault and Indiginous Services Minister Jane Philpott are also on today’s tour. (NAN photo)
