Mayor Keith Hobbs, his wife Marisa and Mary Voss will have their case back in court on March 5th.
The Hobbs’ are charged with extortion and obstruction of justice, while Voss is facing just extortion.
Representatives for the accused told court that all three are electing for a preliminary inquiry, which determines if there’s enough evidence to go to trial.
Court documents allege that they tried to extort a house from local lawyer Sandy Zaitzeff.
