City Council is going to hear an update on a proposed plan to open a transportation museum.
The Whalen Tug boat, Marina Park’s Caboose, a Via Train, and several Can-Car Brill Buses will be displayed in the museum if Council gives its blessing.
Councillor Larry Hebert says if approved a new group called the Lakehead Transportation Museum would be formed.
The LTM alongside City administration would be responsible for finding a suitable location for the museum. (File photo)
