ThunderCon is in full swing this weekend.
It’s taking place today and tomorrow at the Valhalla Inn.
Dickenson tells us one of their guests this year is Brian Ian Muir who has quite the resume.
“He has been working in the film industry since the 70’s,” she points out, adding Muir will be hosting a workshop.
This year’s guest list also includes Paul McGillion from Stargate Atlantis and voice actress Mindy Sterling.
Event organizers want you to take part in their daytime activities and then head out in costume for The Hunger.
Dickenson tells us it just made sense to promote both events.
“We’re going to be collaborating,” she explains. “We’re bringing some bands up from across the country that are sort of nerd, geek bands, and they’re going to be a part of The Hunger. Then, there’ll be some performers that are part of The Hunger that are going to be in ThunderCon.”
The after-dark Halloween party The Hunger runs at various locations throughout the north side tonight.
