Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue tackle multiple fires at once

Garage and shed fires broke loose last night in Thunder Bay.

Between 11 p.m. and midnight last night, firefighters responded to a property with two sheds submerged in flames. Objects nearby melted from the heat.

The fire was extinguished before causing further damage.

While on the scene, a large garage was also reported to be in flames nearby.

Firefighters were able to contain all fires at once, needing a total of seven pumper trucks, a ladder truck and a command unit.

The fires are still being investigated.
