Thunder Bay police remain present near Ashland Place and Limbrick Street after receiving multiple reports of gunshots.
Shots were fired around 4 a.m. this morning.
The police have not received any reports of injury, and the Emergency Task Unit helped assist on the scene.
The Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Units are involved in the ongoing investigation.
The public is asked to avoid this area while they continue to investigate.
