This Week on The Retro Lounge

Join me for The Retro Lounge, Sunday night at 6 for a Halloween -themed show. It’s fun to dress up, like I did one year as John Lennon, with a little light reading. I’ve got scary songs about monsters dancing from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, KC and the Sunshine Band, Bobby ‘Boris’ Pickett with a connection to Frankenstein from Edgar Winter; a look at witches from the Eagles and the movies; a journey with Golden Earring to the Twilight Zone; a look at Halloween traditions with pumpkins from Crash Test Dummies, and werewolves with Ozzy and Warren Zevon and one in London in the movies; the movie that kicked off slasher films with a scary soundtrack; busting ghosts with Ray Parker Jr. and the start of trick-or-treating with Bow Wow Wow, Halloween superstitions, a magic word for Bugs Bunny and a hit for Steve Miller, music from the scariest film of 1973(The Exorcist), along with Blue Oyster Cult, INXS, Michael Jackson and more.

The Retro Lounge is brought to you by Backstage, Thunder Bay’s newest music and accessory store at 215 Red River Road, Sunday night at 6 on 99.9 The Bay.
