The Heat Is On

Get out the sunscreen it’s going to be a warm sunny weekend.

Environment Canada’s Gerald Cheng says it will be the hottest weekend of the summer so far highs expected to hit 30 today, tomorrow and Sunday.

Cheng doesn’t expect there will be any heat warnings for the city, adding the other reprieve is the overnight lows will be in the mid-teens.

The meteorologist notes next week temperatures should get back to more seasonable readings.
