City police are investigating what they say is an attempted murder.
They report a 32 year old man was taken into custody following a south side incident yesterday morning at around 5 o’clock.
Police tell us the 30 year old woman who was the alleged victim, was treated in hospital and then released.
The name of the person charged isn’t being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
The Domestic Violence Unit is in charge of the case
