Ten‑year‑old Hunter Blankenship was bullied at school for wearing rainbow‑coloured glasses. Hunter has Autism, and the encounter was so serious he spent nearly two weeks in the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
But here’s where the community stepped in. A local restaurant owner, Sergio Sanches, heard what happened and decided Hunter wasn’t going to face this alone. He reached out to car clubs across the entire state — and they answered.
Fifteen hundred cars rolled into Clanton in a massive rally of love and support. Hunter, who loves anything with wheels, was surrounded by people cheering for him… and almost every single one of them wore rainbow glasses.
