Thank a Police Officer this week.

This week is NATIONAL POLICE WEEK.

It’s not only a chance for the community to thank police officers for what they do each and every day, but, it’s also meant as a way for POLICE – to connect with their community and increase awareness about the services they provide.

This year’s theme:  COMMITTED TO SERVE TOGETHER.

Thunder Bay Police Chief, Darcy Fleury

Committed 24/7, to working together towards a stronger, safer and brighter future for everyone!

Did you know?  In THUNDER BAY, our Police Service has over 230 sworn officers and over 120 civilian support staff.

Coming up this Thursday (May 14), our Thunder Bay Police, along with Police Chief Darcy Fleury will host another “Coffee with Cops”.  It takes place at Dolce Coffee House at 11:30am. This is a great opportunity for you to connect with officers, and our Police Chief.  It’s a chance to talk to them, one on one and find out what support you need.

To our THUNDER BAY POLICE staff:  Thanks to you – each and every day – doing what you do.  It takes  a special person to commit their career to protect others – and we can’t thank you enough.
